Martin Robotics has installed the First 8 Shooter Beer Bottling Machine in Wisconsin at Bare Bones Brewery.
Oshkosh is Wisconsin’s Event City. From concerts and holiday celebrations to races and sporting events, there’s always something happening in Oshkosh. Everywhere I went the people where talking about fishing. Oshkosh is on Lake Winnebago and Lake Michigan is just a short drive away. But you only have to step out onto Bare Bones spacious outdoor seating area to take in some fresh air, with frequent goose sitings and an ever present chorus of frog. However, I personally was there for the beer. And at Bare Bones you can get some Damn Good Beer, now bottled with the Martin Robotics 8 Shooter Beer Bottling Machine.
While on site for installation and training, we bottled Bare Bones Amber Ale from their Brite tank and we bottled Bare Bones Happy Tail Cream Ale from kegs on their new 8 shooter Counter Pressure Beer Filling and Crowning machine. It is a bit of a trick to bottle out of kegs because the 8 shooter doesn’t like being slowed down by a keg’s small ports; but bottling from kegs is important to be able to do too.
For me, I liked the Bare Bones Swifty’s Irish Red the best, but they told us the Amber & Happy Tail were best sellers. If you are in the area, I would recommend stopping by and finding out what new beer Dan and RJ might be concocting next. While we were in, tongues were waggling and rumors were flying around about what these Dogs had planned. I’ll just say this, I think things might be about to get a little spicy, and I’m not talking about pepperjack cheese! But we’ll just have to wait and see. One thing I know for sure is that Dan doesn’t sit around on his haunches and RJ is always ready to learn a few new tricks. A self proclaimed HopHead, RJ is sure to kick the IBU’s up a few notches sometime soon.
